Sudan Situation “Extremely Grave”

According to DCW sources, continued fighting between warring forces in Sudan has rendered the situation extremely grave for civilians and severely disrupted public life. No banks are operating in Khartoum, Sudan’s capital, where most of the trade finance business is centralized and many bankers have sought refuge elsewhere.

Even most of the banks which had positioned themselves to offer online services have been unable to deliver services in recent months due to lack of electricity supply and scarcity of water.
