Shipping and international trade law specialist Nathanael Lin was promoted to equity partner at Rajah & Tann on 1 January 2022. Tan, who was previously at the Singapore-headquartered firm from 2011 to 2017 before a stint at Ocean Tankers as its Head of Group Legal & Compliance, re-joined Rajah & Tann in 2020.
Lin’s primary practice areas include shipping, commodities trading, and trade finance matters. He regularly advises banks and traders on shipping matters, commodities trade disputes, trade finance documentation and sanctions. Lim has also assisted court-appointed Judicial Managers in commodity fraud investigations.
