He is an 11-years+ PQE (Post-Qualified Experience) English-qualified solicitor specialising in global trade finance, and started his legal career in the trade, commodities and project finance practice of a multinational law firm.
In his in-house role, he advises on trade finance transactions, structures and products and prepares current awareness and know-how materials on documentary trade finance, ranging from fundamentals of documentary trade instruments and facilities, to documentary trade finance disputes and legal and market developments such as digitalisation and ESG issues. David has been a consistent writer on trade finance for over a decade, including for industry publications, and is a welcome addition to our EAB.
